The art of Tea Ceremony: Cha Dao

Plants give us their life force. We repay nature by coming together in ceremony and consciousness.

 

Cha Dao is the simplest and oldest method of tea preparation in the world. In serving a bowl of tea we find simplicity and quietness within ourselves. It’s a sacred space of reverence and heart. If you’re looking at deepening your meditation practice, start with three bowls in the morning. You don’t need fancy equipment. Just some tea leaves, a pot, warm water and a bowl.
